We are so thankful for both of our recent fundraising successes and are now $1,341 away from hitting our Q2 revenue goal of $5,500! Your support is helping our school community stay connected and build infrastructure to support social interaction for our students throughout this highly unusual academic year. We are so grateful to you for including our young learners in a year when budgets are tight and many organizations need additional assistance.
We have two immediate opportunities to close that $1,341 gap:
Order from Noodles & Company this evening, Tuesday, December 1st from 4-8PM at https://order.noodles.com/location/noodles-roseville/menu and use the coupon/promo code GIVING50. Please order from the Roseville location 1655 County Rd. B-2 Ste D. Because today is Giving Tuesday, SAPSA will receive 50% of this evening's proceeds which is a massive upside to ordering take-out tonight. To help mitigate congestion, we ask that families with last names A-L generally order from 4-6PM and M-Z from 6-8PM. Please check in with our Facebook page to share wait times with other families or receive other last minute alerts.
Please consider donating via GiveMN (https://www.givemn.org/organization/Sapsa) or mail a donation by check to SAPSA (St. Anthony Park School Association) to St. Anthony Park Elementary School at 2180 Knapp St, St Paul, MN 55108. We are a 501.c.3 nonprofit and your donation is tax deductible. This is very important to those of us paying taxes in the state of Minnesota.
Our plea aside, SAPSA has the immense benefit of a well-seeded savings account which will help us weather the rest of the Covid-19 crisis in good stead and leave us with the necessary funding to resume our normal programming when normal schooling resumes. While we have a small gap to close, we partner with a number of other worthy organizations we hope you will support in the ways you are able:
Project Reach: Project REACH is a Saint Paul Public Schools shelter and street-based program that promotes school stability and academic success of homeless children and youth. Fostering Connections is an SPPS program that assists with the education stability of students placed in out-of-home care. Earlier this fall, SAPSA held a coat/blanket drive to benefit Project Reach. But we can also donate directly to them here: https://www.givemn.org/story/Project-Reach584055bb1e593 They are currently $2,090 away from their fundraising goal.
Saint Anthony Park Home: this year our students are making holiday cards and door decorations for the residents of St. Anthony Park Home! If you would like to contribute a homemade card or door decorations, please leave your finished projects in the collection box in front of SAP Elementary School by Friday, December 4th. We know this year isn't a year where everyone has funds to donate, but giving is not limited to money. A small act of love like this is the very heart of Giving Tuesday.
Please respond to me directly with any questions and thank you for supporting the children of St. Anthony Park Elementary.
