Transportation
Students arrive at school by walking, riding bikes, parent drop-off and buses! Mornings and afternoons are very busy around the school, so please take extra caution around the area for the safety of our students.
Driving your student to school? See our DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP GUIDELINES.
Is your student riding the bus? Check the district's BUS INFO page.
Wondering if your student's bus is on time? Look at the district's BUS STATUS page.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch are free for all students. Breakfast to Go will continue, with pre-packaged meals to be eaten in the classroom.
Saint Paul Public Schools use School Cafe as the primary resource for school meals. Please visit the SCHOOL CAFE SPPS SITE to create an account for your family, and fill out the benefits application for each student in your family. This is crucial, even if you will be refusing benefits! It helps the school district determine the true needs of our school and we need every family to respond. This application can be translated into Spanish, Somali or Hmong using the drop down on the application page.
To find out what's for breakfast and lunch, check the SCHOOL MENU -- ours is green!

Family Fridays
Our students do a great job every day entering the school independently and getting themselves situated for their school day on their own! In our school community, adults will always be warmly welcome, but we have observed that students (even the littlest ones!) grow a great deal by getting their own breakfasts, navigating the hallways, unpacking their bags and changing their shoes all on their own. They can do it! And their independence helps our teachers start the day smoothly. Fridays are special days at St. Anthony Park. Families are encouraged to park and walk their students to class, say hello to teachers, check the Lost & Found, look at art work, and make friends with other families. On Family Fridays, adults can chat with school leaders over coffee and light snacks.
Family Fridays take place once a month at drop off time, either outside the school or in the lunchroom depending on the weather. Check the EVENTS PAGE to see when the next Family Friday is scheduled.
Visitors and Volunteers
If you are visiting St. Anthony Park during the school day, please sign in at the office.
To get involved, check out the OPEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
Wolf Pack Press
The school newsletter is called The Wolf Pack Press. It will go out regularly to all families via email and includes information on events, volunteer opportunities, and fundraisers. You can find archived newsletters here: sapsamn.org/blog
Please label coats, hoodies, hats, water bottles, and lunch boxes with your child's name in permanent marker.
Our volunteers valiantly try to reunite lost items with their owners, but it is a Herculean task. We ultimately must donate or throw out items each year. Please label belongings. It makes a huge impact!
