We are approaching the busy spring season, with plenty of activities to participate in and volunteer for—the Plant Sale, Spring Carnival, Silent Auction, Running Club, Talent Show, and much more. Oh,and thanks to all who volunteered for the Literati Book Fair, where we made over $6700 in sales!

Volunteer for the Plant Sale
There are many different ways to volunteer the week of the big plant sale!
The SAPSA Plant Tent Sale will be on Wednesday May 13th and Thursday May 14th, with help also needed on Tuesday May 12th to unload the delivery of plants and set up.
There are plenty of ways to join in, and you don’t have to know a thing about plants to be a helping hand! Extended family members are welcome. Please take a quick peek at the Sign Up Genius to see how your family can pitch in!

Shrek, Jr. Is at SAP!
From Ms. Brandvik, our Performing Arts Specialist:
This week, 63 SAP students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will share their performance of Shrek, Jr. These students have rehearsed after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the EDL program. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to explore musical theater, singing and dancing together in community. We share the joy of learning new music and making new friends. Please join us this week in the cafeteria.
Performance dates:
Thursday, April 16th at 8:00 am.
(Kindergarten, First and Second Grade students to attend)
Friday, April 17th at 8:00 am
(Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade students to attend.)
Friday, April 17th at 6:00 pm
(This is open for friends and family.)

Silent Auction
"Sold!! And the highest bidder is..."
Get ready for the SAP Silent Auction! The auction will be April 20-30, and will feature over 50 bidable items, including experiences, gift cards, museum visits, toys, books and blankets.

Park Perks at Sunrise Bank
In March and April, the Park Perks coffee bar at Sunrise Bank will be raising donations for the St. Anthony Park School Association. All dollars raised when people stop for coffee/cookies will go to SAP Elementary. So stop by the bank for your morning cup o' joe!
Spring Carnival Volunteers Needed!
The Spring Carnival will be Friday, May 8, 5-7:30. It's great fun, and most of the school turns out with family, friends, and members of the community.
To run this important fundraiser, we need many volunteers!

Volunteers Needed for the Talent Show!
The great Saint Anthony Park Talent Show of 2026 is scheduled for Friday, May 15th!
We need a few volunteers to run the show. Here is a list of roles we need filled:
Sound | helping to run the PA |
Stage Manager | on stage assisting performers |
Performer Manager | out front, ushering performers from their seats to the backstage area |
Backstage helpers | helping to usher performers through the backstage area with Emily |
Name Tag Creator (stars) | printouts of performers' names to be taped to their assigned seats |
Ushers/Performer Managers/General | helping pass out flyers, managing the auditorium area, and providing general assistance |
Projector | running the power point of performers |

Last Call for Lost & Found
Clothing and other items in our overflowing Lost & Found (located by the stairs near the cafeteria) need to be retrieved by their owners by May 29, so please stop by to search for your lost hats, hoodies, mittens, scarves, coats and other accessories.
Unclaimed items will be donated.
Library Helper
Mr. Watson, our Library and Materials Management EA, would greatly appreciate help with reshelving books for an hour during the school week.
