It's finally here!

Shop the SAP Plant Sale this Wednesday and Thursday, 8 AM to 7 PM, in Langford Park!

Show up for spring planting AND to show your support for Saint Anthony Park Elementary!

We have a wide selection of garden veggies, herbs, colorful annuals, hardy perennials, Minnesota native species, and gorgeous flowering baskets!

While you shop, have a doughnut and cup of coffee, on us!

Sweet Fruci’s ice cream truck will make an appearance BOTH afternoons of the Plant Sale! Owner, Kristin Howatt will donate 40% of afternoon sales to SAPSA.

All proceeds from the Plant Sale are used to provide SAP Elementary with necessary supplies, and meaningful educational experiences (field trips, artists-in-residence, and more).

Thank you for your support; we look forward to seeing you there!

Spring Carnival Memories

It was perfect weather for the Spring Carnival last Friday, and we had a wonderful time while raising nearly $7,000 for the school!

Here are some beautiful photos from Katherine Warde to commemorate the occasion!

Field Day Volunteers Needed!

From Ms. Paulsen:

Dear St. Anthony Park families,

Field Days are less than a month away!

We have scheduled Field Days for May 21st and 22nd.

K-2 will have their field day on Thursday, May 21st and 3rd – 5th grades will have their field day on Friday, May 22nd.   Both field days will be from 11:00am to 1:50pm. All students will be participating in 10 game stations and relay races with their classroom.  We will also have water games where students can simply have fun with their class and get wet. It will be a fabulous day in the sun!

To make our field days a success we will need many volunteers both days.  Please email me at karen.paulsen@spps.org to let me know which day you would like to volunteer!  Thank you so much for helping to make a memory for our students.

What will I be doing at field day?

Volunteers will be actively running stations with games and relays.  This includes assisting students with the games and moving equipment around as needed.  Water stations are included.

We will meet before field day starts at 10:30 am by the front door of the school. Please consider volunteering your time to make the day special for our kids.

Guinea Pig Summer Vacation

Ms. Wilson is asking for five or six families to care for the school guinea pigs, Pancake and Pumpkin, for the summer. Each family will care for them in their home for about 10 days. (Cage, pellets and timothy hay will be provided.)

If you would like these delightful rodents to be part of your summer, email Ms. Wilson at jodie.wilson@spps.org.

Pancake and Pumpkin say "Thanks a million!"
