Read-A-Thon Wrap Up

We are so proud of our students, who read SO MUCH during this year's Read-A-Thon! Our prize drawings and principal's challenge will be tomorrow. Who will win prizes? Which classes earned pizza parties? Will students get to tape Dr. Duke to the wall? We'll have a full recap for you next week!

We could use some extra help tomorrow (volunteering to help distribute prizes is brief and super fun) and you can sign up here https://www.signupgenius.com/go/805084da4ac2da0fa7-readathon2#/

Student minutes have now officially been counted, but it's never too late to turn in sponsor donations to the office or online at https://www.givemn.org/story/Read2023

Family Education Night - Zones of Regulation

Tuesday, February 7, 5:30-7pm at SAP - Adult Education: Using the Zones of Regulation at Home - Free pizza and childcare provided!

Please RSVP by February 1st so that we can plan for space, food, and childcare. If you have any questions for the school counselors and social worker, you can enter them here as well!

SAP Luminary Festival

Please join us for the 2nd Annual SAP Luminary Festival on Saturday, February 25th from 5-7:30PM. We will gather to celebrate our community by bringing light into a dark winter evening and illuminating Langford Park with over a thousand beautiful lanterns, art installations, and a meditative peace garden. The evening will end with a thrilling performance from fire dancers! You can read more about the festival here: https://www.givemn.org/event/Sapluminary

The two immediate opportunities to get involved are here:

  • Help Fulfill Our Amazon Wishlist. One of the most impactful ways you can help is by crowd-source the materials for the luminary. Please help by purchasing 1-2 items from our Amazon Wishlist. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1HG22OPXUJ19P?ref_=wl_share

  • Art Night @ The Makery on Monday, January 30th or Wednesday, February 1 at 6:30PM. SAP parent and local business owner/artist, Anna Gaseitsiwe, will be creating several installations for the event. You are welcome to help Anna at Art Nights at The Makery located here in St. Anthony Park. Light refreshments, good company, and a chance to check out The Makery await! Children are welcome with a participating adult. Space is generous, but limited so we would like attendees to RSVP here.
