Silent Auction

St. Anthony Park Elementary will be holding a silent auction April 14th - April 25th to raise funds for the school. We need your help in collecting items for the auction! Do you have goods, services, handmade items, sporting event tickets, vacation rentals, or anything else fun and interesting that you could donate? Reach out to the SAPSA Silent Auction Organizer by April 1st: Renee Pinkney (renee.m.pinkney@gmail.com).
Read-A-Thon Wrap-Up
The 2025 SAP Read-A-Thon was a huge success! THANK YOU to teachers, families, and—most of all—our incredible, reading STUDENTS! They greatly exceeded their school wide reading goal of 300,000 minutes, reading 442,114 minutes! And we reached our goal of $17,000, to help support the school with a variety of activities and materials.
As a reward to the students, Frost, the school mascot, will act as principal for the day one day soon. Frost has already announced some popular policies, such as extra recess for all classes! Every class also exceeded their classroom reading goals and will get a celebratory cookie party in the spring.
Read-A-Thon coordinators Sara Shepard and Katheryn Ward would like to thank fellow parents Annie Backman and Tammy Albrecht for helping with the reading minute counting. The entire community is so supportive of the Read-A-Thon, but we wanted to give a special shout out to Library Assistant Tony Watson, and also Andrea Borries, who made a beautiful prize display to help motivate students. Thank you, everyone!
Donations can still be made online at: https://www.givemn.org/story/Read2025

Restocking Teacher's Lounge for Conferences
SAP Elementary parents will be providing snacks for teachers during upcoming conference days March 26th, 27th and 28th. Sign up HERE and bring a snack by March 26. We want to keep them fortified and make sure our appreciation of their hard work is evident!

Spring Carnival Is May 9
Mark your calendars for Friday, May 9!
SAP Elementary will be holding its annual Spring Carnival, a major fundraising event for SAPSA and a magical evening for the kids. The carnival will have games, crafts, a bake sale, and much more. Look for details and sign-up sheets in the Wolf Pack Press in April, and in flyers coming home in backpacks the week before spring break.

Wanted: SAPSA Photographer
SAPSA is looking for an SAP Elementary parent or other community member to be our staff photographer. The photographer would attend school events (like the Spring Carnival) and take photos to be used in the Wolf Pack Press, SPPS website, school yearbook, and more.
If you have a knack for photography and would like to volunteer some of your valuable time, please contact Joel Van Valin at communications@sapsamn.org.
Yikes - Beetlejuice is coming!
This year, Murray Middle School’s spring musical is Beetlejuice! Come romp with the mischievous ghost March 21-23. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Yes you can be a tour guide!
Please share your passion for our community at St. Anthony Park Elementary by giving school tours to prospective SAP Families. Sign up HERE. A quick overview and welcome packet will be given to your prior to the first tour.
