Welcome back to SAP Elementary, and to our first Wolf Pack Press issue for the 25-26 school year!
The Wolf Pack Press is the bi-weekly online newsletter published by SAPSA (St. Anthony Park School Association). We hope to keep you posted about school news and events, and celebrate the school and its students and staff. In the past we have also published interviews, columns, and other features. If you'd like to contribute or have an idea, please let us know (contact info at the end of this post).
Thanks to our Chalk the Walk artists, who got the school ready for opening day!

Welcome New Staff and Students!
SAP Elementary is excited to have a number of new staff members this year, and of course many new students.
Among the new staff we are excited to have a new principal, Phillip Hutcheson.
Please join us in welcoming all the new faces this year!
Fall Festival

The Fall Festival will be Friday, October 10, 5 - 7 at the school. This is a major SAP Elementary fundraiser and also loads of fun! The festival includes games, crafts, a bake sale, and a haunted house!
Fall Festival needs organizers!
In order for the Fall Festival to occur this year we need:
A festival co-coordinator (someone to help plan and organize the event)
An activities coordinator (someone to plan and organize face paint, pumpkin painting, craft, etc)
A food coordinator (set up pizza pick up, purchase drinks/snacks, organize service of food during the festival)
Please contact Breanna Mueller (treasurer@sapsamn.org) to join the team and get very detailed instructions for how to proceed with your role.
Many day-of-festival volunteers are also needed! Sign up HERE.
Volunteer for This Year!
If you're looking for the best possible way to contribute to the fantastic work the St Anthony Park School Association (SAPSA) does for our students, then please sign up for a planning committee for the 2025-26 school year by following this link.

We particularly need volunteers for Fall Festival, the Talent Show, and the Literati Book Fair in November and March.
Sign up now, and we will provide further information and guidance to each of the committees. Your support and dedication are greatly appreciated, and together, we can continue to make our school community thrive.

Teacher's Lounge Fall Stock Up
We are providing the teacher's lounge with snacks, beverages and utensils, and we could use your help! Our first step is an initial stock-up of food and supplies.

Dexter's Corner

Hi, I'm Dexter, the guinea pig who lives in Ms. Wilson's science class. Welcome back to school everyone!
I had an interesting summer. I went on an extended vacation and stayed a few weeks with some different SAP Elementary families. I got lots of treats and ate on a lawn and saw a little of the world. I even made friends with a cat!
That reminds me - I have a couple of new friends here too. Their names are Pancake and Pumpkin, and they are both guinea pigs like me. We all hang out in the science room and get along, pretty much. Please come visit us when you are in the neighborhood!
Spirit Wear
Rep your favorite elementary school! T-shirts ($20/kid, and $22/adult) and school signs ($10) are available for pre-order now. Email president@sapsamn.org for preorders. Or, look for in-person sales at school events.

Have a great week, Wolf Pack!
